How to Add Gym and Fitness Class Schedules to Your Calendar

Booking a class and then forgetting it is the quickest way to waste a membership. The class is in the gym app, the confirmation is in your email and the timetable is a picture on the studio's page. Your calendar is the one place that reminds you, so the class needs to be there.

Yotei turns a timetable on your screen into calendar events you review first. See how it works

TL;DR

Weekly classes: use a recurring event

If you go to the same class every Tuesday, set the event to repeat weekly rather than adding each date. You can end the series when your term or membership ends. When a class is cancelled, delete that one occurrence.

Timetables that are only a picture

Many studios post the week's classes as an image or a PDF. Typing seven classes by hand is slow. Capturing the timetable lets you add several at once and untick the classes you will not attend.

The quick way with Yotei

  1. Bring the timetable onto your screen.
  2. Press the Yotei shortcut and drag a box around the dates.
  3. Check the events Yotei found, edit anything that is wrong and untick what you do not need.
  4. Confirm, and they are added to your Google or Outlook calendar.

Cancellation windows

If the studio charges for late cancellation, add a second reminder before the cutoff. For example, if you must cancel 12 hours before a 07:00 class, set a reminder the evening before.

Yotei deletes the screenshot as soon as you confirm the event, or within 48 hours if you do not. The AI service that reads the screenshot may be outside the EEA and is only used after you consent. Details are in the privacy policy.

FAQ

Should I make each class a recurring event?

If you attend the same class every week, yes. Otherwise add single events.

Can I add a class with a reminder?

Yes. Set a reminder on the event for the time you need to leave, not the time the class starts.

Does it work with a timetable image?

Yes. Select the timetable on your screen, check the events Yotei found and confirm.
